Hail to the Queen, but which one?

DRAAAAMA!

I missed the first hour or so of the Grammys so I didn’t know who was supposed to be performing. When I turned on the TV I heard Beyoncè giving this fabulous introduction to “The Queen“. When I blinked and saw Tina Turner in all her shiny spandex glory I was more than a little confused. Tina is a beast for sure, but I don’t ever recall anyone calling her the queen of anything. Apparently, the real Queen, Aretha Franklin, was more than pissed about that and she let it be known.

New Mariah Carey: Touch My Body

Mariah debuted her new single “Touch My Body” today. This is the first release from her upcoming CD titled “E=MC2“. It’s pretty mellow and lukewarm. I’m not really jumping for joy over it. Her last CD was the sh*t. I hope she comes harder with the next single.
