New Sex, Same City

Well, my Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins were both eliminated from the Playoffs.  I’m bummed, but now I can spend my Sundays being “artsy-craftsy” (my coworker HATES when I say that). Unfortunately, I am a t.v. junkie and the mid season shows are trickling in.  Hmmm… Does something look familiar?

Yes, we have not one, but TWO Sex & the City knockoffs.  And they’ve diversified.  How 2008!  In it’s defense, Lipstick Jungle is actually based on a novel by Candace Bushnell, the creator of SATC.  So I expect more good things from her.  And who doesn’t love Lucy Lui?  It’s good to see her back on t.v. Also, Patricia Field is the costume designer for Cashmere Mafia so you know the fashion will be on point.  So I’m watching both shows.
